Community Boards

David is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority which oversees Grady Memorial Hospital and Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital. He is a past President of the Emory Law Alumni Association and member of Emory’s Law School Council. He currently serves as a member of Emory University's Board of Visitors.

David has served on the boards the Georgia Wilderness Institute, Anti-Defamation League, American Jewish Committee, Emory Public Interest Committee, the Druid Hills Civic Association. He serves on several committees of the State Bar of Georgia. David is a member of the Board of Directors of the Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence which operates the largest domestic violence shelter in DeKalb County. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Health Students Taking Action Together (HSTAT) and is a Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scout Troop 18.

David was appointed by the Lt. Governor to serve on the Georgia Commission on Family Violence and the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust.
