Community Boards

David is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority which oversees the Grady Hospital and Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital. He is a past President of the Emory Law Alumni Association and serves on Emory’s Law School Council and is a current member of Emory University's Board of Visitors.

David has served on the boards the Georgia Wilderness Institute, Anti-Defamation League, American Jewish Committee, Emory Public Interest Committee, the Druid Hills Civic Association and the Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence which operates the largest domestic violence shelter in DeKalb County.

David was appointed by the Lt. Governor to serve on the Georgia Commission on Family Violence. He also serves as a member of the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Health Students Taking Action Together (HSTAT).
